We have an exciting opportunity at the Comfort Suites at Isle of Palms in Mount Pleasant, SC for a new Director of Sales to join our Management Team!

The Mount Pleasant, SC Comfort Suites® at Isle of Palms Connector is an 81-room hotel located just 12 miles away from Historic Charleston and less than two miles from Isle of Palms beaches. We are committed to being our best for our guests and we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our sales team as the Director of Sales!

Position: Director of Sales
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports to: General Manager
Salary: $65k Yearly + Quarterly Bonus(Based on experience & performance)

Primary Responsibilities:

• New Account Development: Captures competitor's accounts through networking, research and reader board surveys in order to target and solicit those most probable to generate new business.
• Plans and implements an on-going Targeted Account Development "hit list" in order to create new revenue and acquire valuable hotel contacts, and contracts.
• Continually targets and prospects for new business through telemarketing, individual creativity and innovation.
• Account Service and Management: Maintains well-documented, accurate, organized and up-to-date file management system in order to service client and employer in the most expedient, organized and knowledgeable manner.
• Experience selling to a variety of market segments
• Thorough knowledge of sales techniques
• Enjoy asking for business and closing sales
• Consistently book repeat business
• Organized & technology savvy
• Strong concentration on outside sales is an absolute job requirement
• Knowledge of MP/CHS market preferred
